Technical track BI.ZONE PAM

Installing and Administering BI.ZONE PAM

Deploy and configure privileged access control

"Installing and Administering BI.ZONE PAM" is a technical BCE (Certified Engineer) course for deployment engineers. Over 40 hours, you'll learn to deploy BI.ZONE PAM in a standard configuration, configure privileged session control and recording, manage accounts, and diagnose the product. All hands-on practice takes place on an isolated cloud lab with the product already deployed — you access the lab from your browser over a secure connection, with nothing to install locally.

Who this course is for

  • Deployment engineers who deploy and configure BI.ZONE PAM for customers or in their own infrastructure.
  • System administrators responsible for privileged access control across the infrastructure.
  • Specialists at BI.ZONE partners and on customer teams preparing for BCE certification.

Course program

  1. BI.ZONE PAM architecture. Product components, the server backend, access gateways and agents, infrastructure and network requirements.
  2. Deployment in a standard configuration. Installing the server backend, initial setup, connecting target systems and accounts.
  3. Privileged session control and recording. Configuring access policies, routing connections through PAM, and recording and reviewing sessions for audit purposes.
  4. Managing accounts and passwords. Account vaults, password rotation, and granting access on request and approval.
  5. Diagnostics and operations. Monitoring component health, troubleshooting common connectivity failures, and updating and maintaining the product.

What you'll be able to do after the course

  • Deploy BI.ZONE PAM in a standard configuration for a customer's infrastructure.
  • Configure policies for privileged session control and recording.
  • Manage account vaults and password rotation.
  • Diagnose common operational issues and update the product.

Lab environment

Hands-on practice takes place on a personal cloud lab running BI.ZONE PAM: the product's server backend, target systems running Windows and Linux, and test accounts for practicing access policies and session recording. The lab is isolated, accessed over a secure connection, and runs entirely in your browser — nothing to deploy locally.

BCE certification

The course prepares you for the BCE (Certified Engineer) competency check. Depending on the level, the check takes the form of a test or a hands-on lab session with a trainer. On completion, BI.ZONE issues a digital certificate valid for one year, renewable afterward.
