"Deploying and Administering BI.ZONE Secure SD-WAN" is a technical BCE (Certified Engineer) course for deployment engineers. Over 50 hours, you'll learn to deploy BI.ZONE Secure SD-WAN in a standard configuration, connect branch devices to the controller, configure secure tunnels between sites, route traffic, set firewall rules, and diagnose the product. Hands-on practice takes place on an isolated cloud lab with the product already deployed — you access the lab from your browser over a secure connection, with nothing to install locally.
Who this course is for
- Deployment engineers who roll out BI.ZONE Secure SD-WAN and connect branch offices for customers or in their own infrastructure.
- Network administrators and support engineers responsible for inter-site connectivity.
- Specialists at BI.ZONE partners and on customer teams preparing for BCE certification.
Course program
- BI.ZONE Secure SD-WAN architecture. The controller and branch devices (CPE), overlay tunnels, infrastructure and network requirements.
- Deployment in a standard configuration. Installing the controller, initial setup, and preparing to connect sites.
- Connecting branch offices. Registering CPE devices, building secure tunnels between sites, and verifying connectivity.
- Routing and firewall. Application-based traffic routing policies, NGFW rules, segmentation, and prioritization.
- Diagnostics and operations. Monitoring tunnel and device status, troubleshooting common connectivity failures, and updating the product.
What you'll be able to do after the course
- Deploy BI.ZONE Secure SD-WAN in a standard configuration for a customer's infrastructure.
- Connect branch offices, build secure tunnels between sites, and verify connectivity.
- Configure traffic routing and firewall rules.
- Diagnose common operational issues and update the product.
Lab environment
Hands-on practice takes place on a personal cloud lab running BI.ZONE Secure SD-WAN: a management controller and devices for several branch offices, linked by secure tunnels. The lab is isolated, accessed over a secure connection, and runs entirely in your browser — nothing to deploy locally.
BCE certification
The course prepares you for the BCE (Certified Engineer) competency check. Depending on the level, the check takes the form of a test or a hands-on lab session with a trainer. On completion, BI.ZONE issues a digital certificate valid for one year, renewable afterward. The BCE certificate confirms an engineer's readiness to deploy and configure the product in a standard configuration.
