"Deploying and Administering BI.ZONE EDR" is a technical BCE (Certified Engineer) course for deployment engineers. Over 36 hours, you'll learn to deploy BI.ZONE EDR in a standard configuration, configure baseline protection policies, enroll agents on Windows and Linux, and diagnose the product. Hands-on practice takes place on an isolated cloud lab with the product already deployed — you access the lab from your browser over a secure connection, with nothing to install locally.
Who this course is for
- Deployment engineers who roll out BI.ZONE EDR in a standard configuration for customers or in their own infrastructure.
- Administrators and support engineers responsible for protection agents on workstations and servers.
- Specialists at BI.ZONE partners and on customer teams preparing for BCE certification.
Course program
- BI.ZONE EDR architecture. Product components, the management server and agents, infrastructure and network requirements.
- Deployment in a standard configuration. Installing the management server, initial setup, and preparing to enroll agents.
- Enrolling agents. Installing and registering agents on Windows and Linux, verifying connectivity with the management server.
- Configuring protection policies. Baseline detection and response policies, host groups, exclusions.
- Diagnostics and operations. Monitoring agent status, troubleshooting common enrollment failures, and updating the product.
What you'll be able to do after the course
- Deploy BI.ZONE EDR in a standard configuration for a customer's infrastructure.
- Enroll and register agents on Windows and Linux.
- Configure baseline protection and response policies.
- Diagnose common operational issues and update the product.
Lab environment
Hands-on practice takes place on a personal cloud lab running BI.ZONE EDR: a management server and protected hosts running Windows and Linux. The lab is isolated, accessed over a secure connection, and runs entirely in your browser — nothing to deploy locally.
BCE certification
The course prepares you for the BCE (Certified Engineer) competency check. Depending on the level, the check takes the form of a test or a hands-on lab session with a trainer. On completion, BI.ZONE issues a digital certificate valid for one year, renewable afterward. The BCE certificate opens the path to BCA certification.

| BCS — user | SOC analysts and administrators | Fall 2026 |
Architects working on complex, distributed deployments can take the "Designing and Deploying BI.ZONE EDR" course, and sales managers can take the "BI.ZONE EDR Sales Specialist" course. The full product training path is on the BI.ZONE EDR training hub, and to learn what EDR is and which problems the product solves, see the article "What Is EDR".
